Thoughts From The Static

 Lately I've been spending far too much time in Youtube. It's surprising that old-fashioned television has survived at all. It is infinitely more interesting to look at videos on millions of subjects made (mostly) by regular people rather than the hackneyed, generic offerings produced by big-budget studios.  Some Youtube videos I've seen recently include.... (title in all caps).  The notice I get at the top of the blog page says:  " European Union laws require you to give European Union visitors information about cookies used and data collected on your blog. In many cases, these laws also require you to obtain consent." I don't collect any cookies via my blog, nor in fact do I have any idea how to do so.  So I assume I don't need to provide any legal notice. 

 This is my first post for a blog which will likely focus on social media, Wikipedia, and similar internet topics.
